Open Enrollment Extension for Individuals and Families
After the year-mark of the COVID-19 pandemic, many people in our community are continuing to face economic impacts, including job loss and access to employer-sponsored health benefits.
To offer more opportunity for people to enroll for coverage, Sutter Health Plus is announcing the individual family plan (IFP) open enrollment period is now extending through December 31, 2021. Open enrollment is when individuals and families can shop for plans that fit their needs and select new coverage.
Sutter Health Plus offers
four IFP options, one plan per metal level—Platinum, Gold, Silver, and Bronze—and
mirror Covered California plan designs.
With Sutter Health Plus, members enjoy convenient features, such as access to Sutter Walk-In Care, video visits, a 24/7 nurse advice line, health coaching programs, an online self-service portal, and a single number to call for assistance with all aspects of care and coverage. The Sutter Health Plus provider network in the greater Sacramento, Central Valley and Bay Area communities includes many of Sutter’s affiliated physician groups and hospitals that consistently rank among California’s highest performers.
