Six Hospitals in Sutter Health Plus Network Named Top Performers

The Joint Commission, the nation’s leading accreditation agency of health care organizations, recognized six hospitals in Sutter Health Plus’ network as among the nation’s Top Performers on Key Quality Measures®. The Top Performer program recognizes U.S. hospitals for exemplary performance in evidence-based clinical processes shown to improve care for certain medical conditions. The Sutter Health Plus network hospitals recognized this year include:

    • Memorial Medical Center, Modesto – Recognized for heart attack, heart failure, pneumonia and surgical care
    • St. Joseph’s Medical Center of Stockton – Recognized for heart attack, heart failure, pneumonia and surgical care and stroke
    • Sutter Auburn Faith Hospital – Recognized for pneumonia and surgical care
    • Sutter Davis Hospital – Recognized for pneumonia and surgical care
    • Sutter Solano Medical Center – Recognized for heart failure, pneumonia and surgical care
    • Sutter Tracy Community Hospital – Recognized for heart attack, heart failure, pneumonia and surgical care

Only 36.9 percent of Joint Commission-accredited hospitals and critical access hospitals in the nation earned the distinction of Top Performer for quality performance. The Top Performer recognition occurs in the fall of each year and coincides with the publication of The Joint Commission’s “Improving America’s Hospitals” annual report.
